ENERGY STAR-qualified products

ClimaTech® and ClimaTech® Plus Insulated Glass Packages deliver true energy-saving performance that can lower your year-round heating and cooling costs. Airtight insulating chambers and insulated glass provide energy efficient performance throughout every season.

These glass package upgrades are available on all Vinyl Replacement, Specialty and Performance Series New Construction windows. All selections feature PPG’s Solarban 60 Low-E glass and a “warm edge” spacer system. Additionally, all  feature Argon gas between the panes of glass. Argon gas is a colorless, odorless, nonflammable, nontoxic and safe inert gas. Heavier than air, the Argon gas creates an additional layer of insulation that reduces the transmittance of heat and cold, but not light.

SunClean™ self-cleaning glass by PPG lets you spend less time cleaning, while giving you a clearer view all the time.

SunClean Features

Uses natural sunlight and water to  break down and rinse dirt away. Self-cleaning technology features a durable, transparent coating that is bonded to the outer surface of the windows during the manufacturing process. The coating uses the sun’s ultraviolet rays and water to decompose and loosen dirt and then rinse it away
